Exceptional horses are not created by chance. They are the result of careful planning, proven bloodlines, patience, and a commitment to preserving the qualities that make a horse truly remarkable.

Nestled in the foothills of Virginia, Abiathar Farm is a boutique Dutch–Spanish sport horse breeding program dedicated to producing Friesians and Warlanders of exceptional beauty, athleticism, temperament, and partnership potential. Our focus is not on quantity, but on intentionally building a program that honors the heritage of the horses entrusted to us.

At the heart of our breeding program are two extraordinary mares.

Zabrina MFF, our foundation Friesian mare, carries a distinguished lineage that includes Tsjalle 454, Jasper 366, and the celebrated Zytske ut de Grachten, a Model Sport Elite AA mare. Her pedigree represents generations of thoughtful breeding, proven performance, and the qualities that have made the Friesian horse one of the most admired breeds in the world.

Alongside her stands our PRE Andalusian mare, a daughter of the renowned stallion Alborozo. Her lineage embodies the elegance, intelligence, and athleticism that have defined the Spanish horse for centuries. Through her, we are building a Warlander program that blends the power and presence of the Friesian with the balance, rideability, and grace of the Andalusian.
